The Crestline Village Taco Mama is the original, our “home base” – joining the vibrant Birmingham culinary scene in 2011. Located across the street from Mountain Brook City Hall, in what was once Clumpy’s Ice Cream Shop, and before that, the iconic Crestline Hardware, the first Taco Mama restaurant has become an institution, sharing the local dining spotlight with other great local restaurants. It’s a pleasant walk to Taco Mama from the surrounding neighborhood, as it has been since the development of Church Street began in earnest, shortly after the incorporation of Mountain Brook in 1942. And nowadays we are proud to serve our tasty tacos and margaritas to our friends and neighbors, where it all began!
